Much more interest than usual centered on the 2008 edition of the Brunswick Aalborg International with host Kim Thorsgaard Jensen deciding to switch to the dual lane condition, a much tougher test of tenpin skills.
Defending champion Sami Konsteri of Finland will certainly be on hand to bid for the double but the new format for the event has already attracted a much improved total of entries and the 30-lane, Brunswick equipped Lovvang Bowl will be pretty busy throughout the week, kicking off with a full squad of 60 competitors on Monday evening.

There are 13 qualifying squads of six games with a maximum of four players to a pair of lanes. and, almost at the stroke of midnight on Saturday, those with a will and energy can compete in the one game Desperado session.
The total prize fund for this major EBT event is €62,000 with €10,000 for the winner, a bonus of €1,000 for the top qualifier and prizes paid down to 48th place.
